Pro-tip: the three mattress heights and slim walls make it easy to reach down and collect your little one even for shorter parents!
Convertible Stages
Right out of the box this Pali Spessa Forever Crib begins as an infant ready crib with three optional mattress heights. Although all height settings are safe to use with a newborn though we recommend lowering the mattress height once your baby begins to roll over and sit upright. When you're ready you can swap the front of the crib for the Pali Toddler Gate to make a "big kid" bed. The Pali Toddler Gate is later removed to create a completely open sided Daybed, no extra purchases necessary. Finally, your crib transforms into its final form: a Full bed!! Add on the Pali Full-Size Bed Rails and connect the head and foot-boards and your child is set up all the way through school!
Safety Measures and Mattress Size
As is the case for all Pali Forever Cribs a standard sized mattress is a perfect fit. Conveniently enough the same mattress can be used for the crib, toddler bed, and daybed stages. All the spindles on the front and sides of the Pali Spessa Forever Crib are relatively flat with smooth, sanded edges. The distance between each spindle complies with U.S. safety requirements. The sustainable hardwoods, and completely non-toxic materials will make for the most secure way to put your baby down to sleep.
